MUSSOORIE, 10 MAY:
Nirankari Sect Chief Baba Hardev Singh called upon the masses here, today, to work for the progress of humanity and come out of the whirlpool of desires and materialistic development.
Addressing a big Nirankari congregation at Satsang Bhavan on Camel’s Back Road, the Baba said it seemed that humans had developed materially but, in reality, the human values were degenerating with each passing day.
He called for revival of human values and Humanity to its greatest level. Elaborating further, he said real development was possible only by following the true values of Humanity. He also said that man had learnt to walk on the moon but forgotten on how to walk on earth. He also said that those who had fallen in the vortex of desires were drifting away from humanity. He was saddened by increase in crime in the country and said that it was due to failed human values.
Baba Hardev also said that bowing before saints and seers was meaningless till the time humans did not incorporate the teachings in their daily life and practice it. He also said that without equality, the slogan of Vasudeva Kutumbakam was not possible. He also said that differentiation on the basis of caste, creed and colour was wrong and ought not to be practiced. He said that one ought to inculcate Love and Affection in life to live happily with each other. The Nirankari Chief said that the biggest enemy of mankind was ego and arrogance. One who could overcome his ego could lead others to the path of truth.
Earlier, on the arrival of Baba Hardev Singh, accompanied by his wife, Mata Satwinder Kaur and Rajmata Kulwant Kaur, they were welcomed with a floral offering by Zonal Incharge Harbhajan Singh, Molu Ram, Mansaram Khanduri, Dr Khushi Ram Bhatt and Kalam Singh Rawat.
Hardev Singh will also address the devotees at Satsang Bhavan on Haridwar Byepass road on 13 May in Doon. A blood donation camp will also be organised.
