Mussoorie, 15 July: The Queen of the Hills was shrouded in mist the entire day, today. It was also accompanied by a drizzle, which forced tourists to stay indoors. Owing to this, many people missed the beautiful sight of a misty Mussoorie. There was only a break of an hour and a half from the gray scenario. In the meanwhile, the crowds of tourists on the Mall Road are gradually receding now. Leaving Picture Palace, Library and ‘Jhoola Ghar’, tourists are not to be seen in any large number. With schools reopening and the rains arriving, the tourists are disappearing fast. Occupancy is going down in the hotels. The roads, which used to be choked near Picture Palace and Library, are now clear. The long queues at the Ropeway and Aquarium are not to be seen. Except for the weekend, there has not been much action in the month of July. The ‘off-season’ will strike the town almost totally by the end of this month.
