Ramnagar, 29 Apr: The Excise Inspector, here, seized cartons of beer from Manu Maharani Resort in Dhikuli, today.
The Excise Inspector, Minakshi Tamta, said that she carried out a sudden inspection at Manu Maharani Resort, Dhikuli, and a total of 12 bottles of beer and some empty bottles from the kitchen of the resort. She said keeping the beer was unauthorised. The resort has no licence for an Bar and liquor. So, the resort was challaned under section 60 of the Excise Act.
