Search & Rescue Camp ends

Nainital, 31 July: A Disaster Search and Rescue Training Camp, which was held at the Bara Patthar area has concluded today. The duration of the camp was 20 days and 30 PAC cops participated in it. Mukesh Joshi, Chairman, Municipal Board, Nainital was the Chief Guest at the concluding ceremony. Addressing the cops, he said that to rescue the injured people safely was the most difficult task. Cops needed to learn a lot, such as tying knots, rock climbing and river crossing during the training, he added. The Secretary of the Mountaineering Club, Rajesh Sah, also gave them many tips. Sah is a successful trekker and mountaineer. He has been an experienced member of many expeditions in the higher Himalayas.
