Allahabad Bank opens 2 new branches

Bangalore, 20 July: Allahabad Bank, a leading Public Sector Bank of the country, currently celebrating the 146th Year of service to the Nation, opened 2 new branches today. The Udupi Branch (under Zonal Office, Bangalore) was inaugurated by Sri Sri Vishwesha Teertha Swamiji of Sri Pejavar Mutt in presence of Chief Guest Dr Ramdas Pai, Chancellor of Manipal University, JP Dua, Chairman and Managing Director and MR Nayak, Executive Director of Allahabad Bank. JP Dua, while inaugurating the Branch, said that Allahabad Bank had been on high performance trajectory and registered an excellent performance in all important business parameters during the last Financial Year. The Bank has also planned to install 100 more ATMs spread across the country. The Bank also has a plan to open another overseas branch in Dhaka, Bangladesh. MR Nayak, Executive Director of the Bank, added that it had plans to open more branches in the state of Karnataka. Allahabad Bank also expanded its network in the state of Punjab by opening the Kharar Branch (under Zonal Office, Ludhiana), inaugurated by S Parminder Singh Dhindsa, Cabinet Minister, Public Works (B & R), Government of Punjab. Both the newly opened branches are on CBS platform from Day-One and will serve the public with all its State-of-the-Art Technology. The Bank now has a vast network of 2318 branches across the country.
