DEHRADUN, 29 July: The three accused arrested for abduction of the son of a merchant navy officer were presented before in CJM’s court here, today, for where they were sent to judicial remand.
The medical tests of the main accused, Surendra, and his accomplices Sonu and Sudama were conducted before presenting them before the Court. They were arrested on Tuesday from Abhiruchi Hotel, Tallital, Nainital.
Surendra, the family driver of merchant navy officer Sandip Chaudhary, had abducted his son on Monday and had demanded a ransom of Rs 50 lakhs. The five year old abducted child was also recovered safely from the hotel.
Members of the child’s family were also present during the court hearing.
